Morse Gives Back: Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build

Morse Custom Homes Employee Volunteers: Illaina, Kathy, Mary, Monique, Diana, Debra, and Shelley take a quick break at the Habitat for Humanity new home build they helped construct.

Women Build is an annual project that recruits and empowers women of all different ages, backgrounds, and industries to come together to build homes and make a powerful and visible impact on our local community through housing.

No matter what their skill level is, Women Build provides opportunity for volunteers to roll up their sleeves to promote positive, women-led impact. Women Build promotes empowerment, solidarity, learning, and pride in our community. It encourages women (and men!) to give back and help Habitat make a difference in the lives of local families.

Funds raised through Women Build program directly support building new homes for low-income families in Sacramento and Yolo County, as well as community impact projects and rehabilitation and preservation efforts for our community’s vulnerable elderly and Veteran homeowners.
