3rd Annual MCH&R Cornhole Tournament
Every year, our team gathers in a nearby park to compete in an all-staff cornhole tournament. After taking a one-year Covid break, we recently gathered in a Davis park to battle it out for the bragging rights of being the MCH&R Cornhole Tournament champions for an entire year.

Megan and Eric compete enthusiastically as they enjoy some nice weather and fun tossing.

Diana and Andrew working on their corn bag release.

Mark and Mary (AKA The Great Cornholios) take home first place.

Joe and Chris (AKA C&J Mexican Express) were runners up….

The Cornhole Crew (AKA Morse Custom Homes & Remodeling) hopes you enjoy your weekend.
Redeveloped Property
The local real estate market is running on a hot streak as the demand for homes is extremely high. Additionally, there are very few opportunities to purchase an empty lot and develop a custom home within a no growth city such as Davis. This desirable community also has many older homes that do not meet the standards seen in new home construction or were poorly planned floor plans from the beginning. Sometimes the value of some real estate lies in the actual lot, not the home that resides on it.

BEFORE DEMO: This current MCH&R project entailed removing the old home and clearing the lot for a new custom home. The original house was poorly planned and required extensive overdue maintenance and updating.

AFTER DEMO: Major mature trees remain in the opened up and cleared lot. The custom home design is in the structural engineering process and getting ready for permit acquisition.

Designers, Diana and Franky, pose in front of the demolition equipment during a recent site visit.

MCH&R Estimator, Eric, and Production Manager, Mark, work on developing the actual driveway elevation for our client to view.

Surveying the site and confirming the topography for proper layout.

The original house pad will be compacted and built up to accommodate the new home site.

Preliminary schematics for the new custom home are being fine-tuned to reflect the design objectives of our clients. Stay tuned for more updates later this summer
