After graduating from UC Davis in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture in 1992, Marty fused his background in construction with his design education to form Morse Construction. His attention to detail, keen sense of design, and construction expertise soon generated a solid customer base. He incorporated the company in 1999 as Morse Remodeling, Inc. After the successful completion of several custom home design-build projects, Marty changed the company name to Morse Custom Homes and Remodeling in 2015. Over the years, Marty has changed his hat, sometimes wearing many at once, from a hammer wielding carpenter, to an interior designer, and now to the leader of a successful design-build company. Although he loved every role he played over the years (and sometimes jumps back in), he now enjoys guiding his team through the development of award winning designs and completion of stunning construction projects. Marty also enjoys being active in the community and has volunteered his time by coaching youth football and assisting in various fundraising events and charitable organizations.
